Breakaway Bardog 5K SUNDAY, AUG. 18 // 9:00am
The course, designed by our race partners at Breakaway Running and Bluff City Sports, leads participants through the Core, South Main, and Riverside districts of Downtown Memphis on a 3.1 mile route ending at Front Street and Monroe Avenue.
Start your training now, because the prizes for the race’s 10th anniversary are special: the Top Overall Male and Top Overall Female finishers will be rewarded with FREE BARDOG FOR A YEAR* – as well as one runner, to be randomly selected live at the Monroe Avenue Festival Aug. 18.
Finishers that brave the heat for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are greeted Old Dominick Bloody Marys and Memphis’ greatest post-race event – the Monroe Avenue Festival!

When the race ends, the real fun begins. At 11AM, the Monroe Avenue Festival opens to the public. This all-day race afterparty features live music, local eats from some of the most popular local restauranteurs, an all-day raffle for St. Jude, dunk tank, face painting, and more! It's the best way to spend a Sunday Funday.
